Way Beyond TULIP

David Koysis is challenging his readers to come up with a new floral Calvinist acronym to replace TULIP (his PANSY example is great!). Although not strictly Calvinistic, I thought I would take a shot at CHRYSANTHEMUM, as follows:

Creator is God the Father Almighty.
His Son, Jesus Christ, is Lord,
Raised with all authority.
Y? He died for our sins in obedience to the Father.
Salvation is by grace through faith in him—
And nothing else.
Now we look for his glorious appearing
To judge the living and the dead.
Holy Spirit, sent from the Father,
Enlightens and empowers us.
Mother Church nurtures our faith;
Under her wings, we grow toward perfection.
May we all take part in the age to come!

I’m definitely a thirteen-point something-or-other, not that anybody is counting. If anyone can think of a longer flower name, I’d really like to have a fuller statement of the incarnation in there somewhere.
