Not that I would ever gloat or anything, but Connie and I had a nice visit with Rebecca’s teacher this morning. We were told that her strengths were “academics, behavior, and responsibility” and that she would soon begin testing for the accelerated reader program.
Of course, she is already in the gifted program, where she is currently learning about art history (and can identify paintings by Giotto, Botticelli, and Leonardo da Vinci). Needless to say, Ms. Henderson could think of no particular areas of weakness, and encouraged us to read with Rebecca every day. (Yeah, like we could ever get away with not reading with her!)

bravo – stay proud.
I agree she is one smart girl!
