But the "Can I wear jeans?" thing did make me smile. We have people show up in jeans regularly -- one of them is also a smoker, which I hear isn't done in some churches. (She does the smoking outside on the benches, not in the sanctuary.) A couple of people often show up in knee-length shorts. One of our teenagers wears his hair past his shoulder.
