She is our realtor. Around the time we learned Rebecca would be switching schools we also learned Connie’s part-time “as needed” job (now linked in my sidebar) is going to become part-time permanent starting next month. Since both school and job are located closer to downtown, we decided it would be wiser all around to find a new place to live.
Our current house was only on the market about a month when out of the blue we actually got a decent offer on it Friday! Problem was, between CBF, in-laws visiting, vacation, and Vacation Bible School, we had only begun our house hunting. (I had only turned in our loan pre-approval paperwork at the bank the day before!) A whirlwind tour on Sunday of the houses at the top of our list yielded one great house in the perfect neighborhood, and as of this afternoon we have a deal to buy it. It is a wonderful deal, especially if we can get the financing we think we can.
Thanks, then, to all the folks that prayed, both in Michigan and in Georgia. I’ll leave the question as to whether other intercessors located in different locales contributed to our good fortune to the interpretation of my wonderfully theologically diverse readership.
