Way back in the early 90s I wrote a program called Scholar Utilities. With a single key combination it allowed you to switch between English, Greek, Hebrew, and International Keyboards. In Hebrew, it typed from right to left. It gave formatted your footnotes and bibliography for you automatically in Turabian format, (you just had to fill out a form). It got rave reviews in a couple of Christian Publications.

One little drawback. It was designed to work with WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS. When that wordprocessor died, my program died with it. My programming partner in the project died in a plane crash, and I never regained the momentum to try and convert it to a windows platform.

I did continue to use my programming abilities for good and automatically generated a good portion of the Naghamaddi Texts and the Bible. (Name is not on the cover but in the acknowledgments.) So if you have spare $300+ around you can get yourself a copy and learn all about the parallels between Gnostic literature and the Bible.

When I find a good Hebrew equivalent to TypeGreek.com, I'll be sure to say הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ instead :-)

Hate to break it to you Darrell,

But I am pretty sure you need a Hebrew character set for that last word.
