This guest post at Language Log by Don Ringe has nearly everything I find fascinating to study: foreign languages, geography, and ancient history. All it really needs is a biblical studies tie-in, but I’m too tired to do anything more than link to this old post about the “Table of Nations” in Genesis 10. If I had ever blogged about the Tower of Babel, that would have been even better, but, alas, my archives are practically empty.
