[1]
There must be several generations missing between Amram and his stated children. Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab. If they were both of the same generation removed from the patriarchs, this would imply two additional generations between Amram and Aaron.

Furthermore, the genealogy of Joshua in 1 Chronicles 7 places him in the tenth generation after the patriarchs. Moses would have been a contemporary of Joshua's father Nun and thus would presumably be in the ninth generation--or perhaps the eighth if one factors in the relative ages of Levi and Joseph. This implies four or five missing generations between Amram and Moses.

[2] The genealogy of Benjamin is fraught with confusions. In what follows I am mainly following the interpretations of Keil & Delitzsch (3:132-124, 144-149), who propose that many of the listed sons of Benjamin are in fact grandsons or great-grandsons.

[3]
Some of the names of Bela's sons appear elsewhere as sons of Benjamin (Addar=Ard, Gera, Naaman). Another difficulty is that Gera appears twice on the list. A possible interpretation is that we have here two lists headed by the two known sons of Bela, Addar/Ard and Naaman.

[4]
The sequence "Gera, Abihud" in 1 Chronicles 8:3  is read to mean, "Gera, father of Ehud" (Ab-Ehud).
