On the Composition of Genesis

Bill Arnold has an article at The Bible and Interpretation called Reflections on the Composition of Genesis. It’s a good brief survey of the history of scholarship on the source criticism of the Pentateuch, with particular emphasis on Genesis, along with his own sometimes unconventional conclusions. I commend it to you if you’re looking for a relatively painless summary and/or review of this material. (If you’re in my CHR 101 class, this will be you by next Tuesday!)
