Can anyone enlighten me as to how late the Amarna-era famine(s) in the Levant lasted? Rib-Hadda of Byblos complains about the sparsity of food in several of his letters, but I’m not familiar with the chronology here. Are we talking early reign of Akhenaton? Late? Down into Tutankhaten/amun’s reign?
